Community Support is Key to Cornerstone Realty
West Springfield, MA — In its two years of being part of Springfield, Cornerstone Realty has made a point of supporting local businesses and boosting awareness in the community.
Whether it’s an ice cream giveaway or free family passes to the Forest Park Zoo, Owner and Managing Partner Isadora Sarto wants to ensure the community stays strong. One way to do that is to get people back into businesses.
“So many people have been locked up for so long, it’s really important to help vitalize and get people out,” Sarto explained.
“We all operate as one at the end of the day,” she said. “As we go in the course of our daily activities and our lives, we forget that.”
Cornerstone Realty is known for providing personalized service to its real estate clients. That’s always been their primary goal as well as supporting those around them.
“We really wanted to really focus on community and being a smaller brokerage that could be flexible with our clients,” Sarto said.
After working for larger real estate firms, Sarto recognized how often clients were passed along to others during the process. At Cornerstone Realty she makes sure that everyone receives individual attention with an agent who will, as she put it, “take them through everything A to Z.”
She ensures that her clients are educated about the home-buying or -selling process and know what to expect.
“I pride myself on the way I can articulate things to my clients,” she said. “I think when you’re selling your largest asset or purchasing your largest asset you want someone who’s going to be straightforward with you.”
Being involved in the community has always been important to Sarto. Growing up in Los Angeles she saw that there was always a need to do more and help others, and as a former professional chef is passionate about ensuring people have access to affordable food.
Cornerstone Realty will continue to support Springfield businesses by sponsoring their advertising or hosting giveaways, an impact that Sarto believes will have a positive effect.
“When we can do something to help someone else out or brighten someone’s day, I think it helps to remind us that we really all are one. As a community we have to support each other,” she added.
By advertising the zoo promotion on the Stand Out Truck, she’s created awareness for new zoo programming. She’s sponsored other businesses on the truck and has had a very positive experience.
“(Stand Out Truck owner Mychal Connolly) is just a super-inspirational entrepreneur,” she said. “He’s just a fabulous person and I just feel blessed to know him and work with him.”
