What’s Humanity If Humans Aren’t First… NextHome Elite Reality Luke Day Food Drive
Each year NextHome Elite Realty hosts an event to support the community in a way that befits the company motto: Humans Over Houses. On June 15 they’ll be collecting food for Open Pantry Community Services.
“We just want to help our community,” said broker Chad Lynch “We know there may be people having a hard time putting food on the table.”
Non-perishable items can be brought to the office or cash donations can be made online. Those who donate can enjoy free food from Ale House Kitchen, beverages, and giveaways. DJ Breeze will be providing music all afternoon.
The event is part of “Luke Day,” celebrated nationwide at all NextHome franchise locations. The day is named for the founder’s French Bulldog, Luke, who was born on June 15.
Lynch adopted his own French Bulldog – also named Luke – to serve as a Springfield office mascot. Luke will be at the event so families can meet the nine-month-old puppy.
With Humans Over Houses being their company’s motto, Lynch said it’s a good time to put aside the business operations and celebrate the community.
“The people are more important than the business we do,” Lynch said. “Giving back, helping people in need and building relationships, this all comes back to our philosophy.”
Donations can be brought to the NextHome Elite Realty office at 308 Main Street, Indian Orchard, between 3:30 p.m. and 6 p.m. Cash donations can be made online at gofund.me/a737351a
