Local Comedian Wants to Make You OMG Laugh This Valentine’s Day
Chicopee, MA - This Valentine’s Day beat the winter blues with the best kind of medicine – laughter! On Sunday, February 14th at 7:30 pm, Host & Comedian Jess Miller will be joined by a stellar line up of accomplished, veteran comedians to offer some comic relief from all of the Zoom meetings and virtual classroom chaos.
The OMG Comedy Club will be hosting an online Valentine’s Day Comedy show, streaming live “from our home to yours”. The evening will include performances by Liz Miele from Comedy Central, Carole Montgomery of “Funny Women of a Certain Age”, Nicky Sunshine who was featured on The Apollo, Vince August – well known warm up comic for The Daily Show and touring with Trevor Noah, and Jess Miller whose performances at the Hu Ke Lau in Chicopee and Caroline’s on Broadway have awed and amused her audiences.
“I like hearing people laugh and knowing that we’re making the world a little bit better through laughter. I think that all of the restrictions on being able to enjoy live entertainment have been really challenging for people,” shared Miller. “Especially right now, the world needs more laughter, and you’re invited to attend from the best seat in the house – your couch!”
The audience can expect a unique experience. “It’s different, it’s intimate and it’s a welcome detour form sitting at home and being sick and tired of watching tv. The comics will interact with the audience, adding to the experience,” Miller explained.
“And the beauty of it being an online experience is that anyone from anywhere can tune in, so you can purchase your tickets and enjoy the show with your people you haven’t seen in a while – wherever they may be.” This is an adult comedy show with an R rating for ages 18 and up, and tickets can be purchase for $5 per household.
